What does an In-Home Specialist Do?
One Day at a Time IHS Workers provide guidance and support to our persons served who live in independent living arrangements in many areas of daily living.
This may include but is not limited to scheduling and maintaining appointments; finding gainful employment; household management tasks; budgeting finances; engaging in community activities; and promoting healthy relationships.
Each person served has their own unique set of goals they are working towards related to achieving healthy, independent lifestyle. IHS Workers travel to their assigned clients’ locations on a weekly basis using their own vehicle, and they design their own flexible work schedule through arranging weekly persons served appointments that meet persons served needs.
Current Hiring Needs: Our schedules are normally during the day and some evening hours, we do not have any overnights available, and weekends are not required.
Stacy: Wednesday and Thursday 11a-3p.
*Paid time off for 30 hours or more per week*
